My wedding photo from many years ago. Found this one while cleaning up at Mom's. :) I loved that dress, JCP for less then $250.00 if I remember correct. The pearl set was a wedding gift from the hubby that I picked out, cost more then the dress. lol Used the Maid of Honor flowers as mine covered the whole dress. Mine was about the same but white roses and lilies that had the deep pink color in the center.



Time frame- I was 20 years old. So.. year 1987.

And a size 12. :) Really, the dress doesn't look it but it was. Found several more of us standing, some with my parents. Dad was so handsome in his suit. There is a story I could tell ya about my Father on my wedding day but... don't want to cry today. Maybe another time.



Think I will get these edit by a pro, and saved. What a find as we move into another year, seeing this part of my past. Kind of sad in a way too. So many mistakes made by both of us. Took years to see that tho. Wish him nothing but the best now, hope he is happy.

The ring on my hand he is holding was my engagement ring. It is now the center one carat diamond stone on a ring I had made with deep red rubies, the old one, and love it.



I used the ruby for the whole- red, blood, heart tie in. A reminder if you will.



Never wear it anymore.

Christmas Shop visited a few weeks back, finally got the edits done. Might of overedit, or made the settings too dark on a few. Hard to go from creepy old buildings to all that light, hope, joy. lol ;)
